Cubic outdoor kitchens, engineered in Germany. Made for Scotland.

Modular, made-to-order and weatherproof to the core. Wallace Collective is your route to Cubic outdoor kitchens in Scotland, configured to your garden and installed by our own team.

Cubic Outdoor Kitchens Scotland

Seventy years of German engineering, configured for your garden.

Cubic has crafted modular outdoor kitchens in its family-owned German factory for more than seventy years. The result is a kitchen that feels architectural rather than bolted-on: understated, precise, and built to be felt rather than flaunted. Every surface is weatherproof, every kitchen is made to order, and every layout is configured to your space.

As a Cubic partner, Wallace Collective brings that system to Scotland, and crucially designs the space around it. A Cubic kitchen is at its best within a complete scheme of shelter, heating and the right surfaces, so it reads as a true outdoor room rather than an appliance dropped onto a patio.

Why Cubic

What sets a Cubic kitchen apart

The detail you can't see is what makes it last in a Scottish climate.

01

Made to order

Every Cubic kitchen is configured to your garden and built to order in Germany: your layout, your materials, your appliances. Nothing is off-the-shelf.

02

Weatherproof by design

The whole cabinet is built from Cubic's own water-resistant CUBIC board, with ceramic worktops and stainless steel hardware. Weatherproof throughout, not just on the surface, so the storage inside stays dry through a Scottish winter.

03

Architectural & modular

Clean lines, flush doors and a built-in look that reads as part of the architecture. The modular system means it can grow or adapt as your space evolves.

Storage inside a weatherproof Cubic outdoor kitchen cabinet

Weatherproof by design

Weatherproof to the core, not just the surface.

Cubic kitchens are built from the company's own CUBIC material, an engineered board developed in Germany that is completely water-resistant, used for the doors, drawers, shelves and carcass alike. Because the whole cabinet is weatherproof, not just its surface, the storage inside stays dry, clean and vermin-free all year round. Cooking equipment, crockery and glassware can live outside through a Scottish winter.

Hinges and hardware are stainless steel. Worktops are ceramic, a burned-in, waterproof surface that is food-safe, acid-resistant and highly scratch-resistant, proven in permanent outdoor use. Timber elements such as Lignum-T fronts are thermally treated hardwood: heat treatment gives the wood its weather resistance naturally, without resorting to tropical timber.

The kitchen in our Auchterarder showroom lives outside 365 days a year, and we use it the way you would, in sun, rain, frost and everything Perthshire offers in between. We've tested it, and it lives up to the claim. A Cubic kitchen is an investment that will be part of your space for years to come, not simply a way of cooking outdoors, but a way of living: life lived outside.

It's the easiest way to understand the quality, and to start imagining the configuration that would suit your space.

Across Scotland

Designed and installed across Scotland.

From The Smokehouse, our showroom in Auchterarder, we design and install Cubic kitchens throughout Scotland: Perthshire, Edinburgh and the Lothians, Glasgow and the west, Stirling, Fife, Angus and beyond. Each modular cabinet is built in Cubic's own family factory in Germany and arrives pre-assembled, ready to install, so once your site is prepared, the kitchen itself goes in quickly and cleanly. Installation is carried out by our own BALI-registered team, whose landscaping and groundwork experience means the ground around the kitchen is prepared and finished to the same standard as the kitchen itself.

Every project begins with a consultation, either at the showroom, where you can open the drawers, feel the worktop and cook on the display kitchen, or at your home. For projects further afield, we also offer full consultation and design remotely, with installation carried out by our approved partners, so a Cubic kitchen designed by Wallace Collective is within reach wherever you are.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose Cubic over other outdoor kitchens?

Cubic has been making modular outdoor kitchens in its family-owned German factory for over seventy years. The difference is engineering: weatherproof materials throughout, made-to-order configuration, and an architectural finish designed to be felt rather than flaunted. It's built to last in a demanding climate.

How much does a Cubic outdoor kitchen cost?

Cubic projects with Wallace Collective typically start from £14,000, depending on the modules, appliances and worktop you choose, and the groundwork your site needs. Because every kitchen is configured to order, we price each project individually after a consultation. You will always have a full, itemised proposal before committing to anything.

Can I see a Cubic kitchen before I buy?

Yes. We have a working Cubic kitchen on display at the Wallace Collective showroom, built to order in Beige Grey with Lignum-T cladding and a Jasper worktop. You can open the doors, run your hand across the stone and picture it in your own garden first.

How is a Cubic kitchen installed in Scotland?

We guide the whole process: design and configuration, ordering, and installation by our own BALI-registered team. We also design the surrounding space so the kitchen sits within proper shelter, heating and surfaces rather than standing alone.

How long does a made-to-order Cubic kitchen take?

Cubic kitchens are made to order in Germany. From confirming your design, delivery and installation typically takes 10 to 12 weeks. We plan installation around Scottish weather windows where groundwork is involved, and we will give you a firm schedule at the point of order.
